The women's national team played four games with a two-two record. The deciding factor in the end was a close loss to Germany. The three teams were in the second position, which ensured their advancement to the superstructure, but the Czechs had a worse record. In the men's section, Lukáš Klíma's team made it to the quarter-finals by sensationally beating the Canadian champions, former Scottish representatives and Cameron Bryce. However, the fairy tale experienced by two members of the current national team Lukáš Klíma and Jirka Candra three years ago (the title at the CCT in Edinburgh) could not be repeated. The stop was put by Ross Whyte's junior team. The men's final was played by teams from Canada and Scotland and the women's final was purely Scottish. Unsurprisingly, both titles remain at home. A very well organised and solid tournament. Simply commendable.
