An early evening tripleheader.

First, the women took on the Australians and after a small hesitation in the beginning of the match, they won the match. So they have their first win in the competition and have a tough day on Monday. The Americans in the morning and the Swiss in the evening. Anyway, the schedule is quite strict for our ladies, three games in the morning at 8:00. It's really tough with the time difference. At the same time, the Turkey-Czech Republic mixed doubles match started. After six ends the score was 4 : 4. However, in the end the Turks lost their phase and even registered one of the first Hog line violation, i.e. a stone taken away for violation of the Hog line rule. With five stones played, it is quite noticeable when one is missing. Mixed doubles so two wins and a tough test on Monday with games against England (Fowlers, win and loss so far) and then Canada (Carruthers and Courtney, two wins so far). At quarter to five in the morning Czech time the senior men played their second match. The opponents were the Danes. And in truth, they played better. Qvist in particular made virtually no mistakes. We recovered from a three in the first end and went into the break at 2 : 4, but when we increased the risk we let the Danes get a four with our advantage and the match was over. In the evening more beer and a team meeting in the hotel room, which didn't end until 1am local time. The acclimatization is apparently closed. Greetings to the Czech Republic and cheers.
