Final preparations.

photo: touching decoration in the interior of the Astorville Club Thursday morning was reserved for the Astorville Curling Club, where we were extremely satisfied yesterday. Today, the local guys were playing their game next to us on the lane, and they treated us to nice comments like, "You better not look at us at all." "Our brooms are older than you." etc. There was a practice session of small hockey players, who were divided into three groups, and the smallest of them were distinguished by the fact that in the ten minutes we watched them, they fell down about fifty times and got up again and continued skating. I think it was all very pleasant for us. Likeable people, a home run club, terrible (but free) coffee, walls painted with curling designs, a guy with a curling tattoo and almost everyone somehow involved in the work around the World Championships. We really enjoyed it. Noon at Papaya restaurant - great lunch. Everyone had something different and we will definitely go there again. You walk in the door and immediately someone stands up and says, "Curling?" The whole town really lives for it and for many people it's a "once in a lifetime" experience.
