The last tournament before the 2025 European Championship.

The last international tournament before the 2025 European Championships (Lohja, Finland) for the Czech women is in Estonia, specifically in Tallinn. Apart from the national team, there are two other Czech teams, a junior national team (Farková) and an extra-league team (Polívková). The morning practice was held on the ice, which was significantly transformed by the afternoon, and the big, hard-to-predict swing became the standard four-footers and speed, which is missing Anna Kubešková, who is in Prague fulfilling her maternity duties. At the very beginning of today's only duel against the Danish team (Dupont), my opponents were still asking where Anna was, and I answered the same question to the Danish coach Ulrik Schmidt in the stands. The advantage we gained in the first end didn't bring us much luck and a series of three dropped deuces sent us pretty much to our knees. Some improvement in performance came when the fate of the match was practically decided. The Danes taught us especially in the effectiveness of simple procedures, in which they are traditionally very good. Tomorrow early morning we will face the home team Estonia, whom, like the Danes, we meet several times every year, not only at the European Championships, but also at other tournaments across Europe.
