Trouble with stones?
At this year's European Championship, players are not complaining about the quality of the ice, but they are complaining about the quality of the stones they are playing with. They are mainly Germans, for example Didi Kolb (former coach of the German men's national team), Rainer Schoepp (coach of the current women's national team) but also many players. "I guess someone forgot to pair the stones" said Andy Kapp after the winning game against the Norwegians. Anette Norberg also complained, even though she beat the Scots. It's strange because these are not local stones but WCF stones, which are used in all major international events.
