Against the Swiss and Estonians.

On the first day of play at this year's edition of the Ladies Challenger, Tallinn, Estonia, we faced Team Hurlimann (skip Corrie Hurlimann). We led three to one at the half and pushed our opponents to a forced one in the fifth end. However, after an error we offered a deuce and from that point on luck turned against us and we didn't win another point. It's a shame to lose, we should have played well. The opponent in the second match was the experienced national team of Estonia. The even match was broken in the sixth end when we got three for three after two flawless runback stones played by Maria Kaldvee. In the next end we could have got the three back, but after a communication error we only got a two. In the eighth end, the Estonians played the last stone against the extra end, but after a close miss by the guard, they knocked our stone out of the circle and our chances vanished. Two losses complicate the Czech team's path to the quarterfinals. We need to win the rest of our matches and be good at LSD (DSC).
