With the US, it was a very different picture in the first and second part. A little bit unsure American girls made mistakes, not big, but still exploitable and we were able to take advantage of them. After half time we led 5 : 3 and we were happy to have played a decent game. The break after the fifth end did us no good. We lost our accuracy and probably kicked our opponent to improve their performance. The final stones failed and we quickly handed the lead to the USA. At the end we had no choice but to take a lot of risks, and this time it didn't lead to a win. The result of 5 : 13 does not reflect the strength of the teams, but the victory belongs to America deservedly for a very good performance in the second part. France defeated Canada, and Denmark was the last stone for Scotland. In the evening we read the track and stones for tomorrow against Sweden.
