First training session.
We met for breakfast this morning. The accommodation and breakfast are ok, just still getting used to the time changes. In the morning we rented a car and shortly afterwards we headed to Richmond Curling Club for our first practice. After a quick, short lunch, we hopped on the course, practiced, and eventually checked out the curling shop under the supervision of Doug Bradley, but it was quite expensive. We spent the rest of the afternoon downtown, looking in the shops and doing a little shopping (Jirka for chocolate, Terka for a swimsuit she had inexplicably forgotten). In the evening we had a pool for a while, some board games and hopefully a regular sleep at normal, meaning local time.
