The opening duel, which we commented on, was taken care of by the teams of Switzerland and Sweden. An embarrassing level, probably influenced by nervousness... the Swiss had the better start, the Swedes the better end. In the women's section we put the Scots up against the Swedes and it was a bit disappointing, especially on the Skotek side... the Swedes also fell into mediocrity and even below average in one section, but the errors by the Skotek, and especially Muirhead were unusual. Tonight Canada against the Swiss. The opening was boring, then Canada's mistakes, then a bit of a comeback but on the whole not much... I think it's a bit of a let down for everyone... The atmosphere is tense here and the crowd spoils it a bit too... They cheer at the wrong moments. The commentators are ok and so is the cooperation of the crew.
