First win for the men.
In an important match, the Czech men crushed the Dutch 7-1 and kept their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup alive. We share the eighth place with Russia and the Netherlands, the French have one more win. The Czech women played an interesting match against the Spanish women. After eight ends 1 : 1, it shows a very defensive approach, but some unusual factors (dirt on the ice, under-touching of some stones and an extraordinary performance of the Spanish skip during defensive executions). The last stone of the tenth end, however, secured our drawn six and thus a win 7 : 2. Against the Irish we experimented a bit in the beginning, but then we turned it on full speed and the result was a ten point gain in three ends and a win 11 : 4. The boys have the Russians tomorrow and the French the day after, we go to the Austrians tomorrow.
