Mixed doubles pair Zuzana Hajkova and Tomas Paul registered the first point, thanks to a win over Team Germany. A good start to the competition is undeniably encouraging. Both of our representatives performed at the level of 70 and 74% respectively (according to local statistics), and this puts them in the top ten among the 39 participating pairs. Our next match is tonight against Turkey. Meanwhile, the senior teams are preparing for their entry into the Tournament, mainly by playing table curling, either in the singles version or in the dabl mixes version. We had a celebratory drink in honour of our young women, who once again surpassed one of the milestones by beating the Swiss in the final match in St Gallen to win this year's Masters title. While the final match was not televised (Edin and Smith got priority - Kyle Smith was the winner), the announcement was. We proudly watched our players singing the Czech national anthem and we all felt that our hard work pays off. So today, exceptionally, I am publishing a photo not from the championship I am at, but from where I am not.
