First matches played.
The women played their first match in Group B against Wales. On already slightly better ice, our players dominated from the first end when they scored a three. It was especially better reading of the ice and clear leadership of the game. The score 8 : 1 and a very well played seventh end were the reasons for the Welsh (or Welsh?) to end the game early. Our game times coincide with our men's A arena times, so unfortunately we probably won't see a stone of their games. From the course of the individual ends of the Czech Republic - Denmark (men - A group) match, it is evident that against the young Danish team, ours developed a good starting position in the second part of the match, but lost the match at the very end with a Danish double, played against our advantage. Result 8 : 7 for the Danes. The Czechs will play against the English women at 20.00 in Monthey.
