Women's morning round against the Germans.

We feel respect for every team, but that doesn't mean we're afraid of anyone. After yesterday's disappointment with Canada (I mean the women, because the men did their match), we've been grinding our teeth at the Germans since early this morning. Breakfast at seven, bus at quarter to eight (again with problems) and arrival at the arena at eight five. There we learned that there was no icemaker yet - a few centimeters of snow had fallen. So the training was postponed for half an hour, but suddenly after twenty minutes the Swiss umpire announced one minute to the start of the training and the girls were still in the dressing room. They waited for us and then everyone apologized, from the head umpire to the deputy to the linesman. We clearly dominated the game. After four ends we were 5-1 up and with no real chance of a reversal thanks to the slight cluelessness of our opponents. All in all, an 8 : 1 win after eight ends, that's the Czech Republic - Germany women's match in a nutshell. In an hour and a half, the men take on the Swiss. photo: us and the German women
