Russian female Olympians against Czech juniors.

At 14.00 Sidorova, Fomina, Galkina (who flew to Flims together with Olga Andrianova directly from Vancouver) and co. played against our girls. The first half of the match was quite even. The Russian girls were more confident, more careful, especially in rolls and stones for accuracy they were gaining better positions continuously. We had the opportunity to reduce to 4 : 6, but a longer draw only let us down to 3 : 6. In the end, the Russian girls resisted our efforts to score with increased risk and with solid play forced us to surrender after eight ends. They were better. The hall in which they are playing is newly opened and the Swiss are very proud of it. The materials used are among the more expensive ones and the equipment is really top class. I recommend coming here for the tournament. It's always snowing in Flims and the view from the window is romantic. Welcome to the Czech Republic.
