A confident performance brought the men bronze!
In the match played from 13.00 the Czech men played against the Norwegians. The northerners, led by captain Ulsrud, managed to keep the game under control and won with their last hit to advance to tomorrow's match against the Swedes. The Czechs had a rematch of last year's European Championship against the Danes on the agenda for tonight. We beat the Danes in the round robin, but now it was for bronze. A bit more cautious start gradually turned into Czech dominance. Snitil, Bareš and Kitzberger played almost without mistakes and even the chosen procedures were well timed. Another three in the eighth end was too much for the Danes. We got the bronze and the joy is immense. The boys are hugging each other, the fans (our women) are cheering in the stands and I am calling the Czech Press Agency. Congratulations and congratulations. Thank you, guys.
