Scandinavian Olympic gold medalists.

photo: Behind the dear one you can see our fans with small Czech flags right above the big Canadian one. Anna Hasselborg's team is a grouping produced by the Swedish curling school, traditionally backed by the curling school system, the sound and quality leadership of the association and of course the more than a century of tradition of the sport in the country. The female professionals, travelling most of the year around the world, especially to Canada, with an average age of around 27 years, are a picture of the current concept of curling. For more than 20 years, the age structure of teams and players has been changing towards rejuvenation. The emphasis is more and more on good fitness, mental toughness, good communication based on the ability to judge the speed of the stones and the characteristics of the ice, teamwork and definitely on the technical preparation of the individuals. The game started rather cautiously, with two zeros. Then the Swedes played a deuce, and then we misjudged the offset on the draw against a deuce, and it turned into a five-point lead for the northerners. We managed to correct the score to 4 : 6, and then 6 : 8, but there was no time or space for more. A worthy match against one of the best teams of today and full respect for the performance of our team. According to the local stats, Ezen (the lead for this game) played at 100%, which is not exactly common. We forced the Swedes into mistakes and were the better team in several phases of the match. Tonight will be the Danes.
