Famous curling names in the Norwegian team.

Olympic champion and even multiple world champion. These are the famous fathers of the Norwegian women who played against the Czech national team today. And Pal Trulsen (2002 Olympic champion) even sat on the bench next to me and Misha. We were still slightly better in the match, but Anna had to pull out an extra shot to keep us out of big trouble in one end. And when at the end Ežen made two perfect tick shots it was on the right track. Still, our skip had to play a hit on a half-covered stone to stave off the extra end. The win is pleasing. In the evening Misha and I had the obligatory practice session, this time accompanied by a disco by the young Swedish girls who supervised the evening's ten minutes. The highlight of the day for me was meeting Mr. Le Gruyere, the main sponsor of the European Curling Championships. It took me to a different place for a few moments - see photo
