Famous fathers in the audience.

Both Czech teams are on a losing streak. Wednesday, like Tuesday, did not bring either team a point gain. The men lost to the Swiss 7 : 10, when the opponent managed to get three consecutive one-point ends without the advantage of the last stone and to the Norwegians 5 : 9 after nine ends. The women's team lost to Denmark 2 : 9 in seven ends when, like the men against the Swiss, they failed to score several times in a row when they had their own advantage. The Italian and Swiss women have already qualified for the superstructure, and the Italians and Scots have the big Q in the men's competition. The Italian teams in particular are showing a confident game based on perfect defensive play and creative varied play when they have the advantage. Some celebrities and among others the fathers of the male and female players have visited the stands. Eigil Ramsfjell, three-time world champion and Olympic bronze medalist, and his wife came to support their son Magnus. Hammy McMillan, the 1999 world champion, watched his son from the stands. A number of others who can't stand the cold indoors are hanging around the Curl Aberdeen club, nibbling bites of Le Gruyere cheese and watching the matches on the big screen. From yesterday to today the stones were being groomed and it was great to watch Mark Callan and his team at work. In fact, the whole process took place in full view of the visitors and it was possible to take photos and videos. Tomorrow the regular season ends with the last games and the Czech teams will not make the playoffs.
