Opening ceremony of WGNZ in Queenstown. Transfer to Naseby.

A seemingly freer day after an almost over-saturated yesterday. Great breakfast in the morning, then a walk around town and a little shopping. Queenstown is a beautiful town full of young people obviously travelling for adrenaline sports. This was reflected in the opening ceremony. The banner of the competition came down from the sky carried by a paraglider. Flags of the participating countries brought jet boats across Lake Wakatipu and the opening speech was conducted in Maori accompanied by dancing half-naked warriors. The move to Naseby was unexpectedly easy. Accommodation had already been arranged from the Czech Republic. We had a house with two bedrooms, a living room and a spacious bathroom. The advantage is the distance of 60 meters from the Royal Hotel, where there is a beautiful typical New Zealand pub. We postponed our visit to it until tomorrow. The opening party was held at a local club outside the curling hall. The food was very good, the wine too. We booked breakfast for 8.15 and are looking forward to training tomorrow.
