Sunny days in Brampton.

We are quickly processing the time shift. Timing of evening training is a big help. Chris Wei, the club manager, offered us the opportunity to be on the ice in the evening at 10.30. We didn't hesitate and took it. The drive from Brampton, where we live in a large but not very cosy house, takes about half an hour in our eight-seater Toyota. I know the Oakville Curling Club quite well from tournaments two years ago. An eight-lane, spacious clubhouse, a labyrinth of locker rooms, a corner offering Goldline products, tables everywhere with tournament schedules. Just curling life as it should be. We got on the ice after the end of the game on lane six. Draw, hits, speed, swing, throws, guesses. We're getting familiar with the conditions and we're very happy. We're going to bed late, but I guess it's good for us because we're getting our timing back to normal faster. During the day we go to the FUZION gym, which uses the confident slogan: "We will make a better you." Let's hope it works out for them.
