Saturday Basel.
The second day of the tournament was held in the traditional Swiss spirit of well-managed organization. The matches played without time limit sometimes lose pace, but it has no effect on the schedule. We actually have a double-header, that is, two games in close succession. In the first one we play against the current leader of the group - team Schwaller. We can't build on yesterday's improved performance and lose 3 : 5. This makes our chances of getting out of the group slimmer. In the next match we clearly defeat the Polish national team 8 : 2. This means second place in the group and the WCT server puts us in seventh place, i.e. promotion, but because the Basel system is different from the traditional one, we finish lower in the standings and after four matches the tournament is over for us.
rnAs always, an excellent sporting event, full of top European teams, spiced up by the participation of the Japanese women. That was this year's Women's Masters Basel.
