Sokol Liboc brings laurel from Uzwill, Switzerland.

The 26th St. Galler Kantonalbank International Curling Tournament, which was attended by 36 teams from seven countries, was won by the Sokol Liboc 1M team consisting of David Jirounek, Martin Jurík, Karel Kubeška and Jiří Candra. The Czechs won all six matches and were the only undefeated team to win the main prize of this prestigious Swiss tournament. The tournament was part of the preparation for the Czech national championship play-offs in April, where the curling team of Sokol Liboc had already qualified in advance. A minor blemish is the renaming of Jirka Candra to Siri, which evokes the character of a virtual assistant in apple phones. The joy of winning the tournament, however, is not tempered. The tournament featured several national teams, a number of outstanding players, and an Olympic medalist.
