Sporting life.

In the first half of March, organized sports came to an end. Certainly in the Czech Republic and certainly for a few months. At the same time or shortly afterwards in many other countries. The highlight was the postponement of the Olympic Games for one year and the complete cancellation of this year's Wimbledon tennis tournament. These are already such fixed points in the universe that to rock them and call them into question is serious. All of these circumstances have caused a flood of alternative forms of athlete training published on social media. These are mostly individual maintenance of fitness, preservation of technical habits and not infrequently even just public relations type activities. Those with a large garden or spacious living room have an advantage. Various parkour tracks, home gyms or other private gadgets can then be more easily immortalised with a mobile phone via a post, storify or feed on Instagram, FB or other social media. No, I don't mean that as a put down or a taunt. On the contrary, I'm glad for it. Because it means that the return to the courts, fields, ice, habitats, courts, boards, ovals, or sectors, cockpits, halls and sports venues will be smooth and injury-free. We will all be fit and well prepared to return to normal sport. It is not easy to decide to relax the set rules, especially when no one really knows what the developments will be. But most non-contact sports, even collegiate ones, seem pretty safe to me. Immunity also needs to be boosted by physical activity. Let's judiciously open some sports venues soon.
