26.02.2014,

The 2014 World Championships are starting. Czech women are there.

Zuzana Hájková, Iveta Janatová, Alžběta Baudyšová, Klára Svatoňová and Eliška Srnská, these are the five players who are defending the Czech colours at this year's World Championships. The trip to Flims went without any problems, the accommodation is ok. We are solving some minor irregularities in transport, but otherwise everything is fine. Training revealed that the ice will be fine. Spinning about 4 feet, speed 14,4. Our first game is against Canada. We start off a little bit in the Canadians' favor, then we counter and take the lead. A few mistakes bring us back to even. The extra end is to our advantage, but we miss one clearing and an optically spectacular double (guard and shot) puts our rock in the perfect center guard position. Skip (Rocque) plays a come around ideally for six. We're long. A loss, which is a shame because we were closer to winning than our opponent. We'll make up for it this afternoon at 4 p.m.
