The Czech teams lost to their Swedish opponents in the opening matches, relatively clearly. The men played against the current best team in Europe - N. Edin. Women against experienced M. Prytzova (skip Siegfriedsson). The men will continue today against the Danes (Stjerne). The women will play the Russians, who lost today to the Scots.
The hall in Stavanger is special, large, with unusual acoustics. The A section is separated from the B section by bleachers for coaches, umpires and timekeepers.
