Both Swedish teams have advanced to tomorrow's final battles. The Swedes swept the Scots and the young students from the Swedish curling school (two from the team) beat the confident Canadians in a close match. On the other lanes, the Russians showed good form with a win over Canada and American skip Chris Plys led his team to victory over Norway after a very good performance by both teams. The competition system gives a second chance to 17 year old Scottish skip Muirhead and 20 year old Canadian skip William Dion to reach the final in the evening matches. Czechs will not be missing in the audience.
