All right, girls, back to the A team.

The meeting with the Latvians starts with the power supply of my laptop going out, so we are doing the backup stats on the tablet. We get a cheap two at the start and then return a laborious one. There's still something in the air, though. Then, with no advantage, we go for three, and we're up two. The Latvians are sputtering, the skip is losing her nerve a bit. In the seventh end, we're two up, and Reggae hits a brilliant double take-out to take three. and then the Latvians give us back a deuce and we're up by one in the ninth. That's two up with no advantage going into the tenth. The extra end with the advantage shouldn't pass us by. Reggae, however, misses her first stone and Anna unerringly knocks the Latvian's only stone out of the rings and raises her arms in a victory gesture. We have Group A back for the Czech Republic!!! The joy is great. The Italians are winning in lane A and we will play them tomorrow at 13.30 for the gold in the B group and the right to play for the World Championships.
