A close win against the Finns. Losing to Andrea.

The Czechs scored their second win against Finland. A close encounter where the umpire even had to check the result several times meant that our men did not have to go into extra time against the Northerners. The evenly matched match brought together teams with no Olympic experience, but with all the more ambition... the Czechs are closer to success so far. The Czechs played against their traditional opponent - the Germans (Andrea Schoepp). After seven ends it was 4-4, but then came the breakthrough that earned the Germans a four. Then it was difficult. The girls still tried to score with more stones, but the heavy stone on three in the ninth end failed, and the win went to the Germans. It's pretty even so far in the women's division. Now it's another evenly matched duel between our team and the Germans, and tonight the women play China.
