Training, team meeting and ceremony.

The morning was still at a leisurely pace. A nice breakfast and then a walk to the hall for training. 5 x 15 minutes gave us the basics. Ice runs at 14.4 without throwing to a tee. Spinning 4 feet or more, still a bit erratic in some spots. Light is ok. Locker rooms are fine for us, worse for coaches space. It's high and cold so we have to figure out clothes. The team meeting didn't bring any big surprises just a few questions from Olga. The Canadians pointed out that the magnetic strips on the hog line are short, so stones played from the outside around the corner guard miss the hog line check. Interesting!! Lunch fine, rest for a while and then on to the ceremony. It is held outside, we are cold and the speeches are not only in Swiss German but also long. Punch and cake at the end. In the evening we still have to relax and have dinner and sleep. Tomorrow, hooray for the Scots!
