Training and team meeting
At this point, both Czech teams have already completed their training sessions. The ice is different than ours, but very good and fast. Draw is 14,80, stones 15,50 can be placed. The ice is less spinny and has a less pronounced finish. Players are satisfied with the quality of the ice. The players' meeting with the organizers, organizers and umpires was as always pleasant (moderated by Keith Wendorf). There is an increasing emphasis on sportsmanship by the players and also on protecting the ice surface. There was even an announcement of a possible suspension of a player for repeatedly failing to follow the instruction about contact of hands or knees with the ice surface. All players are fine, as the photo (girls during the team meeting and boys waiting for lunch) documents. Both coaches had to change their rooms because the heater was not working. We are looking forward to the matches!!
