Three games a day.
The first opponent of today's Friday menu was the Swiss team Keiser. After three ends we led 4 : 1 and controlled the match without any problems. Midway through the eighth end, the Swiss shook hands and it was done. We went to Migros near the hotel for lunch and after a short rest at the hotel, where the jackhammers and pneumatic hammers were running full blast during the renovation, we returned at 5pm to play Anna Sidorova and Co. It was quite a good match, in which the Russians surprised us by guarding hard in the first three ends, which they consistently won without advantage, always by one. We could have retaliated with a deuce in the fourth, but it was only one. The Russians then ran away to 5 : 1 and could not take the win... We started the next match practically without a break, against the younger of the Huerlimann sisters. Except for the very beginning we were the better team, but in the end we couldn't keep our promising lead and finally we lost in the extra end. That's the end of the main competition for us and tomorrow we continue in the Consolation Cup. After lunch.
