The tournament continues. The Danes surprised the Swedes.

One of the commented matches was the match between the Swedes and the Danes. It would have been easy to pick the favourites and most would have picked the Swedes. Their sovereign performance so far, including the win over Canada, has put them in the position of candidates for the semi-finals. The Danes were a bit up and down and could not be trusted completely. However, the match made them forget the assumptions. Edin seemed to be counting on a win somewhat automatically. He took the match somewhat lightly and even risked so much in the fifth end that he offered the Danes a stone for four. Stjerne - Hansen (the renaming is just a mistake on the jerseys, caused by an official shimmy of the Danish Olympic Committee) accepted and until the end he kept his and his team's performance high, except for a slight hesitation. A well-deserved and surprising win. Today we commented on the Skotek vs. China match. A good confrontation. The Scots more focused than yesterday, Sloan making mistakes, Muirhead more accurate and calm. Wang could have won, but the stones didn't come at important moments, and the Chinese may well have lost the match because of a communication error.
