TV match with USA. Then against the Swedes.

This morning at nine against the USA. It's an hour later than yesterday, which is pretty cool. We've tweaked a few things a bit and the result is a good start to the game, decent pitching and a nice, tactical lead. We have everything well planned and it's working out, too, until we unluckily open up the guard in a promising position instead of hit and roll and let the opponent play two instead of our one or even two. At the end we take a little too many risks and it doesn't work out. All in all, the U.S. deserved it. We've got the Swedes this afternoon. Before the game, we're playing a card game called "Reindeer/Kings," pretty good fun. The fun ends at 7:00. We're making a cosmetic change. Betsy's going to number one and Klara's going to number two. We're quickly taking the lead. Over one with advantage and one without advantage and then three without advantage to 7-2. The northerners give up and we get our first win. Hopefully it won't be the last. What's important is an improved performance and good spirits. The weather is still pretty good. It's snowing a little at times, but the sun is out during the day.
