team and Jamie - young star
rnAfter dinner at Rocky's, we headed to the lobby. The weather is still very frigid. Against the Danes, we got a kick out of our anthem, which we sang with vigour, and we were also pleasantly cheered by little Jamie Stewart (young star), who was endearingly shy, especially after the line, "go, go, Jamie, the whole world will see you." We played well. We did get an A in the first end, despite having the advantage, but after that the difference in quality was noticeable. The fifth end was tough for Dupont. The draw against the three had an awkward angle, and because the lane was a little tilted, the outturn required a really sensitive release. The Dane was put under pressure for the umpteenth time and this time she couldn't take it. The decisive lead was already held. We got the win and we are happy about it.
