Game against Canada and gala dinner.

We came into the game against the tournament favourite, Team Canada, full of determination and effort. However, a three (score 3 : 0) for the opponent in the first end put us on the ground. The Canadians outclassed us in all aspects. They were more accurate, better brooms and at the right moment they were able to play the game-solving stones. We had hopes twice when we came under pressure, in the fourth end (played to three) and in the sixth end (played to two), but the pressure was not confirmed and after six ends we decided that it would be better to save our strength for the tie-break with Britain. The Swedes lost to the USA, so at this point the Czech Republic and Great Britain are tied for fourth place. Canada, China and Russia are in the semis. The second major item on today's agenda was a dinner invitation from our driver and his friends at a famous restaurant in Harbin. The experience was not only the rich conversation with the Chinese and the special ambience with an incredible number of serving staff, but especially the food, which was very varied, tasty and appropriately spicy (Eva, Lenka and Kamila probably disagree). Of course, we consumed everything with chopsticks, and with the exception of some experiments with nuts, successfully.
