More than a thousand spectators watched the Czechs' sensational win over the Norwegians at the World Championship.

A true peak season and curling feast began yesterday in Regina, Canada. Every championship taking place in Canada is different than if it were taking place in Europe. Today's morning draw containing only two games (and without Canada) was watched by about 1500 curling educated spectators right in the hall, who at the end applauded the successful take out of Jirka Snitil, which the Czechs gave the Norwegians (skip Ulsrud) a deuce in the extra end and thus won 7 : 5. The Norwegians struggled a bit with reading the ice. In the extra end, after an error by Svae on the deuce, the Czechs used good defensive play to win the game. The following autograph session was all the more pleasant because the winners were signing autographs. We play against China at 7pm local time. photo: autograph session, hall
