Election to the CSC: Economics.
The economics of the Czech Curling Association has two parallel branches. The basic one is the economics of the association and the other important branch is the economics of the association's wholly owned company Curling promo. Already a few years ago, the financial situation of the association was stabilized and thanks to the economical management of the association's activities, a reserve was created to deal with planned and unexpected events. In the past, the Czech Curling Federation has successfully managed some organizationally demanding events, such as Olympic qualification, the World Wheelchair Championships and the European Mixed Team Championships. However, the situation is now much more complicated and curling is facing what the whole society is facing, namely a return to normal life after a year and a half of uncertainty. What is needed now is the reactivation of the formation of an economic commission of qualified economists to guide the Czech Curling Federation through the tangle of pitfalls that await us all from next season onwards. It is necessary to review the income and expenditure part of the association's budget and to set up mechanisms so that we can not only manage the situation around the land under the sprawling hall, but can continue to develop all the activities that the association provides from its position.
