Satisfied, athletic, healthy youth are the future of not only every sport, but of our civil society. Curling can help to fulfill this vision through systematic work and education of its wards. After completing a difficult year and a half, we will have to deal with many existential problems, but we must not forget the youth. Capacity-wise, we are currently unable to increase the numbers of young players registered with curling clubs and our association. Another limiting factor is the number, level of education and experience of youth coaches and instructors available to the association, which can be used by clubs educating junior and youth curlers. In spite of all these objective obstacles, it is necessary to see the work with youth as an indispensable prerequisite for the further development of our sport and to carefully monitor and develop this key area.
