The Swiss won and the Italians surprised.
In the afternoon game Switzerland (skip Michel) beat the Czechs 5 : 3. We had a few good chances in the beginning of the game, but later the Swiss outplayed us. Late in the afternoon, the Czechs ran into the Italians and after a good first end we could not find a recipe for the fairly consistent play of the Italians and lost five ends in a row. At the very end we created a good situation for a reversal, but we didn't confirm the elaborated four. The boys still have to face the Russians today at 8pm. Let's wish them a good game and good luck.
