On the road again - Hvidovre.
In preparation for the European Championships, the Czech women's national team traveled to Hvidovre, Denmark, for a tournament in the Nordic Tour series. The Czechs were grouped with the Danes, Norwegians, Germans and Scots. Anna, Míša, Aneta, Klára and Karolína played their first match on Thursday and won. The defeated team was the Germans (Abbes). On Friday afternoon we played against the Norwegians (Bjorsnstad). The track number one, which is located closest to the entrance to the hall area, showed some minor irregularities and it took both teams a while to get their bearings. After two missed chances to increase the score, we finally pulled away to a two-point difference in the sixth end and then added two more in the seventh. The eighth end was a mere formality. Tomorrow we have a pair of games, the first against the Scots (Munro) first thing in the morning at eight.
