We know the European champions. And more.

Swiss women are the European champions (Feltcher and co.). They beat the Russians, who for a long time looked like they would be better. Errors by the front end in the eighth end and a dogged play by the Swiss eventually created an almost clear lead of 8 : 4. The Russians could have answered with a three in the ninth end, but a hit and roll out meant only two, and the Swiss had already comfortably tied the game. The Norwegians fought their way from the tie break to the final end and even had a tenth end to win, but they couldn't keep two stones in the circle, so it went to the extra end. Run backs and a quality draw resulted in Edin's final hit and stay. The newly assembled team of northerners (the yellow and blue ones) are the champions. Unlike the Germans, the Germans won't play the world. The Finns beat them in two games and will meet the Czech men at the World Championships. The Estonians were finally played. The Norwegians won two games in the B indoor and are going to Japan, where unfortunately they will not meet our girls.
