The debate about whether to hold the World Championships in an Olympic year at all is being fought in other sports and is subtly emerging in the curling world. I like the World Championships so far even in an Olympic year, but we'll see what the future brings. Changes such as moving the World Mixed Doubles Championships from April to November suggest that the date calendar will see further adjustments.
